Hampshire business unveils new look

A HAMPSHIRE business has leapt into Spring with a brand-new look following a complete office renovation by Brazier Interiors.

The headquarters of Westminster Dredging Company Ltd in Segensworth have been completely redesigned in a bid to improve inter-office communication and create a more friendly and inviting environment for staff.

The 12-week project, which commenced at the end of February, saw around 18 different tradesmen and women working on the site at any one time, including floor layers, ceiling fixers, partitioners and mechanical and electrical engineers.

Now employees of Westminster Dredging are settling into their new-look office, much of which has been transformed into open plan to encourage communication between staff and create a more productive and friendly working atmosphere.

As well as knocking down the existing cellular office walls, Brazier Interiors added glass panelling to retain natural light and brighten up the interior.

The two-floor building has also benefitted from a slick new boardroom and break out spaces for staff. The communal areas feature break bars where employees can use their laptops and brightly coloured, ergonomically designed chairs to inject fun and comfort into the office.

Westminster Dredging’s Managing Director, Haico Wevers, said: “The transformation of the office is incredible and has really lifted the spirits and atmosphere in the entire building. Staff are finding it much easier to work together efficiently now they are in an open plan space.

“Brazier Interiors’ proactive approach, good communication and competitive quote have made the potentially disruptive process of renovating the office a breeze.”

Brazier Interiors’ Managing Director, Roy Martin, added: “We are very proud of the outcome of this prestigious project. To see the office looking contemporary and well-designed is one thing but to know we’ve made a difference to the way the company operates through our work is truly rewarding.”

Brazier Interiors works with companies of all shapes and sizes, providing a complete interior design and build service including such elements as partitioning, suspending ceilings, furniture systems, floor coverings (via its sister Company G P Hollick), mezzanine floors, after-sales maintenance, along with design and space planning, commissions suitable for tendering purposes and Local Authority Approvals such as Building Control and Planning.
